Dysfunctional Society

Digital artist-architect J. F. Bautista highlights a devastating domain of unfamiliar landscapes and heterogeneous architectures, nature drained away and reduced to rubble and dust. Bautista’s discordant and strange images allude to days end, survival, and ultimately the end of our society. He imagines a world where the unexpected presence of dysfunctional structures rise from the fragments of a fallen society and environmental collapse, factories, smoke stacks, nuclear power plants. Bautista delivers an essential ethical message of the dangers of environmental degradation and transcends the viewer beyond our time and our uncertain future.
